A Case Study

A Nottingham based company, manufacturers of machines for the textile industry, approached us. They required a counter which would automatically control the fabric length and the number of cuts, as well as keeping track of the amount of fabric on a roll. Changes to the batch size, and the length of the material cut had to be easy to make, without changing the operating parameters of the counter.

Carlton supplied a standard 57602-405 counter, meeting all of the required operations. This counter returns an accuracy consistently better than 2mm on a cut length of 2-3m. The 57602-405 also has the added benefit of being able to hide screens which the operator does not need to view, and will also print any of the screens on demand.
